أعاد متطوعون بناء قاعة ستونهنج التاريخية البالغ عمرها 4500 سنة باستخدام أدوات من عصور ما قبل التاريخ.
وفقًا لمؤسسة التراث الإنجليزي، فإن إعادة بناء هذا المبنى النيوليثي لا تستند فقط إلى أدلة أثرية تشير إلى وجود هيكل كان قائمًا بالقرب من ستونهنج، بل تُنفذ أيضًا بالكامل باستخدام أدوات وأساليب دقيقة تاريخيًا تعود إلى تلك الحقبة، إضافة إلى مواد محلية المصدر.
عند اكتمالها، ستُفتح قاعة “كاسوما النيوليثية“، كما يُطلق عليها، أمام الجمهور، وستُستخدم لاحقًا كمساحة تعليمية للتاريخ الحي للمجموعات المدرسية الزائرة.
